All work and no play makes Andy a dull boy!
I took some time off from writing and fighting the good fight of craft beer to... well... drink it. In the few short weeks that I dropped off the map, Bare Hands has opened (and by my estimation is pulling in fist-fulls of well deserved dollars), Fiddler's Hearth, Bar Louie and the Mark have been putting on amazing beers (cask Hopslam anyone?), and news of Sixpoint (Brooklyn, NY) coming to Indiana has hit (more on that soon...).
I thought about all the things I would like to do bigger and better in 2012 for craft beer in our area, however after much meditation with bottles of Short's Huma Lupa Licious, I concluded that continuing to drink my way through events, reviews and news is almost assuredly the way to go.
Let me take this opportunity to welcome you to the new year, 20 days late. Cheers to an even less sober year, and even stronger commitment to the craft beer revolution!
